Robert Blake and Dyan Cannon make an unlikely pair in Coast to Coast, a fast-moving romantic road comedy directed by Joseph Sargent. Cannon plays Madie, a woman escaping from a psychiatric hospital where her husband confined her to avoid an expensive divorce. Blake is Charlie Callahan, the down-to-earth truck driver who reluctantly becomes her rescuer.
